Living your faith and being genuine is in everything you do

Tim Tebow became one of the most visible Christian athletes of his generation, known as much for kneeling in prayer on the field — a gesture that became known as "Tebowing" — as for his college and NFL career. He has said he sometimes sings hymns as he runs onto the field to stay calm under pressure, and has been direct that his faith isn't a separate compartment from his public life: "living your faith and being genuine is in everything you do and that's football, that's life." Reflecting on legacy, he has said, "When we die, there's going to be a dash in between the date we were born and the date that we died, and that dash is going to represent everything we did in our life."
