You got this and I got you
Katy Perry · Singer-songwriter
Katy Perry grew up the daughter of Pentecostal pastors, and though her career has taken her far from that upbringing in image and sound, she has spoken about faith remaining part of how she processes major moments in her life. Before one of the biggest performances of her career, the Super Bowl halftime show, she has said she prayed beforehand and felt she received a message: "You got this and I got you." She has described that moment as a confirmation from God that steadied her before stepping on stage in front of one of the largest television audiences in the world.
