There is more to me than just this jersey I wear, and that is Christ living inside of me
Stephen Curry · NBA player, four-time NBA champion
Stephen Curry grew up in a devoutly Christian home in Charlotte, North Carolina, where his family held devotional time together every morning. He carries that faith openly into his career, listing "Believer" first in his public bio and writing Philippians 4:13 on his sneakers before every game. "The Lord has blessed me with these talents to do something special. But it's not about me," he has said. "Winning games, losing games, missing shots, making shots, it doesn't matter. It's all about giving glory to God." Curry has also been candid that living out his faith doesn't mean preaching at every opportunity — he says his life is the testimony.
